Sinking faster than the Titanic

Looks like more loss' to get out quickly. Shorts are killing it due to managements inexperience in stock tranactions, and credibility.

Fong said it, We are equity trading on book value. Very bad plan as trading on current share price and stabilizing the reputation , is fore front. In review, raising the SP and then using that as equity placement is the norm, and Wall Street needs the valuation to be stable and not a short maker hedge personal ATM machine, in a very short (get it) time there will be very few investors left, which may be managements plan. Just Saying.

THIS Company and Stock is textbook, in what not to do. EOM.

blah blah blah blah blah Race.  Right now building the company's growth is priority number one.  Consistent earnings growth will dissipate the shorts and accumlate longs.  That together with a rise in coal markets and markets in general, particularly in China, will get our share price up.   Why on earth would you say it is managements plan to have the stock trading on ...more

Well Brother it is very apparent you DID Not listen to the conference call, The equity they are purchasing these mines with is based on the shares being offered as equity at, can you say it... Book Value, which was 4.84, if that 4.84 is never realized....what happens then(void?), they would get more bang for their buck by getting the SP over at least 3.00 and on someones radar....and above the ...more

One other thing, they have been in business for 15 years and the SP is currently , 1.94 they do an awful lot of back patting for that major accomplishment.

And where are the insider buys, that were ready to be exicuted in Sept. seperate of the spoken buyback of course......you are dealing with amatuers, not seasoned veterans in marketing, that is for sure.

They're making money and production is increasing.  With all the BS in the China sector the past couple of years, it's no wonder investors are afraid to put their money down.  I think they've turned the corner and production, and profits, will only increase even without adding any other mines.  Throw another acquisition or two into the mix along with their wholesale ...more

Then you know the expectations for next quarters are not that great(numbers as you say), as one of the new mines is only in a pre production phase and will not be fully operationally until the end of 2013. FYI.

The trend is in place.  Production, even without any more new acquistions, is increasing, and when the other mine becomes fully operational, which is a gradual process, it will only add to the totals.  It's a long term thing. I don't have that much exposure but I'll be adding.  At these prices it's cheap.  The downside risk doesn't seem all that great ...more

You are completely missing the point, sure it takes less shares @ book value of 4.84 on a SP around 2.00. Remember this is CHINA...home of the crooked, if someone gave say 4 million of stock, asset sale valued, if you could sell it, for 2 million, or could never sell it for 2 million...what would happen if they called the fair value in cash. Does that go to a chinese court, do they just take back ...more

Whoa big boy, they have not hit 300k yet, a million tonnes, are you serious. In case no one noticed, coals are soaring today, except of course LLEN who reported a GOOD quarter in my opinion, but is down for day 2 since reporting, do you feel gipped , you should as that is the way the short consortium wants you to feel. And there is not anything you as a shareholder can do about this. So ...more

If the government's goal is for L&L to mine 1M tons in CY 2013 (as opposed to FY13,) then hitting that goal would only require 10% sequential quarter-to-quarter growth.   Note that for the following chart, since the company's quarter end is offset by a month from calendar quarters, I'm considering calendar year 2013 as running from 2/1/13 to 1/31/14.     ...more

One decent acquisition (250,000 tons) would put them there (1 million) without killing themselves expanding production at the mines they already own.  Ramping up production at the mines they already own would get them within striking distance as well. They are making $7 million a quarter now, and growing.  Eventually the market will recognize the fact that they are growing and making ...more
