Coals

Walter still getting whacked after "earnings" release the other day.  When will we see a turnaround in US coals?  Are inventories still too high?  Will coal go back up when inventories are close to depletion? Is it a battle to death between natural gas and coal (seeing neither natural gas nor coal companies are really profiting when will both start to profit)?.

China coals:  are they down recently because of the China stocks in general because of the real estate market allegedly getting too hot and China looking at serious measures to slow it?

Where's TJ when we need him?

Honestly, I cannot see a turn in the coal sector until late 2013 (late October, and only then if NG rises and it is an extremely hot summer) sorry.

I too am  thinking we will not see a significant turn in the US coal sector until at least the fall.  I believe we will definitely see a significant turn up withiin the next two years as I believe by then NG will be way higher based upon what I've been reading.

DC I feel bad that you, in reality are trapped in  two stocks now, as LLEN trades as though it is halted, and LPH is not going to trade again imho, terrible position to be in right now, coals.....stocks everyone loves to hate, liberal dems and shorts really not much difference in the two, no offense...

Race: You have gone too far!  There is nothing to support your statement that LLEN trades as though it is halted...it is consolidating AND forming a 'bowl' or 'cup' or 'rounded bottom'. How can you justify making such an irresponsible comment.  And by the way CHOP recently hit $3.0. Sharpei

He has not yet gone too far. When he goes even far enough, we will no longer hear from him.>

And your board post said wait till 2.20 or you would be sorry, something like that....on CHOP...I wish i would have bought CHOP , but with the LPH fold up...just to scarry of a time to large invest, 38 k shares today on LLEN...looks more like the dog poop formation, than a bowl, or flag or old man smoking a pipe...give it a a year and it will be back to 2.00 maybe.... and it does trade like it is ...more

Familiar with Bulkowski's flat base, but this is a sector reccesion, coal season for the extreme chinese winter, is over...coals will continue a flat short sellers base for the forseeable future..., next year, sorry, Buhhda told me. Management has done nothing to help the SP...(no insider support as announced by Lee , 3 quarters ago) When you lie to the shareholders, bad things happen, ie see ...more

I don't begin to understand how you process information...In the first place we know there is a recession in coal....in the US!!! Our price is reflective of that, yes...but do you really believe that as this company grows...production output, expansion, new mines, new contracts (Where do you get off insinuating that Datang may have dropped LLEN?) won't be reflected in the SP even if we don ...more

Nothing personal, but in China you should not process what you see as being the truth, there is no hiding poor preformance, except with the brush stroke...look at the awesome website, that they cannot even get current pictures downloaded to. I rant for a reason, and it is 1.67 period .  don't be too dissapointed with earnings as the last CC said contracts were being adjusted to keep ...more

This is, without a doubt, the best news of the day ... Race won't be back before July ... I'm paying the 1st round ... Who's paying the next one? Race, really hope you can keep promises ...

I agree with LLEN being quiet ... No PR's over the last 3 weeks!  This is unusual ... At least true for the last + 2 years. There must be something going on ... We can certainly have big expectations for 2013 as we are right in the crunch on the consolidation process ... As for T2 ... I really don't know what to think as they were pumping LLEN ... It is also quiet on the short ...more

Sharpei< I am not yet seeing any of the turn upward.  Possible preparation but no turn as of yet.  One not negative point is that the weekly Bbands have at last gone horizontal.  First time in two years, though the bottom line is not quite completely there yet.  Also volume doesn't seem to be implying any more downside so unless Llen gives out some good news seeing ...more

Hey Bar:  I am not doubting what you are saying but I wonder if we are talking about the same time frame.  I may be looking far more near term-as in earnings' season about March 11.  I could be in for a big disappointment but I am expecting more and better than we've yet seen out of this company in the way of earnings, executions and possible future moves. It would surprise ...more

Very good point Sharpei and completely accurate. I was discussing weekly charts and longer term.  Sorry, completely forgot to mention that. Lol
