L and L debt to equity

The author in the below speaks about how he is enticed to buy stock in coals but he is not at all hot about the debt to equity ratios such as shown in his article.  According to L and L's October 10Q, their debt to equity is 17%.

Another thing, BrotherM...if you happened to catch T. Boone on Squawk last week, he didn't even mention coal  (after predicting $4 natgas by year end back in Sept) and I  am noticing NOBODY is talking about coal...as though it already has become fodder for the history books.  (But how 'bout that news out of Ohio State...really exciting! and no one is talking about it on any ...more

Well you certainly won't hear TBone touting any coal; he's invested in and pushing the politicians for NG.  The preponderance of what I've read tells me the worst of the NG glut is over.  Everybody has their own agenda.  I believe I just read the other night though that the EIA though is seeing an upwards move to $4-6 in the next couple of years.  Many ...more
