Wow.  Very sweet Far.  1968 baseball when I was dreaming of being a big leaguer at the age of 10.  That was magical stuff on TV.  Notice back at that time most batters had closed stances.  I wonder why they do not now?  Especially if one is a right handed batter it would be more advantageous to have a closed stance and hit too right field more often.  Hitting to ...more

Bro I was in LA on a business conference. After the conference I went into the bar at the hotel I was staying at to watch that world series. Just me and a few strangers watched Kirk Gibson hobble to the plate to bat. Not sure if it was the bottom of the 9th but I am pretty sure it was. When Kirk hit that home run we were all screaming and yellin and huggin. Man it was amazing and I knew right then ...more
