Yes we will be acquired next year

Before end of next year, ALO will be acquired. The most likely candidate will be Leagold. I think they would like to acquire now but their sp has to increase before considering a serious offer. This won't be a cash offer.

In private, LMC ceo has already spoken of keen interest in acquiring ALO property. My concern is that the price of acquiring will be low considering the current lack of demand for any Gold mining stocks. I would love to see a double digit price target but lot of things has to go right before this becomes reality.

The current management was given a gift in managing our flagship AP. Everything is wrapped with a bowtie on a silver basket. You have to be pretty incompetant to screw up. So far, i'm not impressed with our current management. I believe they dropped the ball on the last equity financing. I heard that there was a competing offer on the table for a smaller offer ($30 million range) with much less discount. This offer would of lessend the impact on the sp and the float. Furthermore the cost of financing AP would stay the same.

This management isn't shareholder friendly and the sentiment is shared by number of large shareholders. Management has their own agenda and likely won't be aligned with current shareholders.

God bless the Longs.........
