Curious as to how you got Dec 12 as target AGM date. There is a full week before xmas holidays afterwards.  I like all of this. Just curious.

He said Dec 12 would be optimal. But I think last date to have AGM would be Dec 20th or 23rd. I doubt they'd do anything during Christmas Eve to New Years

is this your own analysis or do you have a source to share?

Companies will still be in normal operation until Dec 20th. Therefore Dec 20th - 21 days = Nov 29th would be the latest date for announcement. This is all based on the fact that you guys are correct that an AGM must happen before calender-year end.
Comment by JrGoldMan on Nov 15, 2024 2:02pm
this is incorrect     agm could be as late as middle of february       you could see notice in the new year or late december      procedural      does not inform sale success failure or progress in any way      cynthia has so much core support that there wont be any changes unless she wants them and that is how that should be ...more

Maybe Doug could clear this up  Please

Doug has already spoken on this issue.  https://stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard?symbol=v.lme&postid=36238631   I have it on good authority that the agm must be held by February 13, 2025.  as to the wording "each calendar year" yes it would seem like they should have one each year but obviously there is either a loophole or reason for exception they are ...more
Comment by GoldenBull999 on Nov 15, 2024 2:33pm
so an exception ... ie. pending deal would be a valid reason for an exception to perhaps line up with shareholder voting at the same time as the agm etc?
Comment by GoldBelt on Nov 15, 2024 7:40pm
I think the confusion is arising from the discrepancy of AGM requirements of LAW vs TSX POLICY. LAW ALWAYS TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER POLICY. Sooooo... yes now Feb 14 2025 is the latest an AGM can be held so cancel my Critical Timeline post because the original timeline post is now back in effect IF A POSSIBLE TRANSACTION needs to close by the next AGM. https://stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard ...more
