Yes, these are interesting bid and ask spread.  Looks like the cheap (lower than rights offering share prices ) shares are finally 'drying up'. I know I have have bids at USD10.70 which have expired without being exercised. Based on closing prices the last few days, I am still surprised that there are some shareholders willing to sell shares for less than USD 11.50 (approx rights

To answer this question it was pure underhanded manipulation from those with insider knowledge. Notice how it was controlled only on the NAS when the TSX was closed. Went up one day and back down the next. Not suprised one bit, this is how these people roll! Watch out, they are not finished! 10.50 US is around the price they paid for their shares.
