This company is cheap! Barrick recently unloaded Lagunas Norte to a private Singapore based company for $80 million USD, plus the purchaser is responsible for $226 million in closure liabilities.

Barrick mothballed Lagunas Norte once they depleted their oxide resource because they didn't want to upgrade the mill to process the sulphide ore. Both have a similar amount of sulphides, however it is not a direct comparison as Lagunas has a much higher grade than Choquelimpe.
