LOM Exit Value

I am encouraged with the progress of this company as of late.
I wiuld love to know a " ballpark" exit value for this company when sold.

If anyone has some experience and would like to give us an "educated guess" as to per/share value when sold I would appreciate it and would not hold you to it , just would like some idea ??

How about 7 billion. The syringe and closed transfer device market is 20 billion per year. If our devices capture 5 % of the market, wouldn't that make the value $1,000,000,000? Medical device companies sell on average 7 times value. Therefore our company would sell their for 7 billion.  So based on 23 million shares this would be $300.00/share.  Just my guess.

Thanks aea257,  We appreciate your breakdown of the numbers. Personally, if you're even "half" right , I'd be happy.  Now, another question to ponder... Do we 'think' we can have this done/sold by this time next year ?? If anyone has expertise/thoughts/guesses on this or any other aspect feel free to chime in. I would like to know the 'laymans explanation ...more

So, would still like to hear any more thoughts on exit value and capital gains advice. CSTD seems to be a key selling point to the bigger potential buyers. Just like most investors, we all hope for a homerun with this company, 2008 when I got in- lot of other people even earlier. Take care everyone.

I agree with your valuation. What are the chances an offer will come remotely close to that? I was told there are 27 million shares outstanding. There have been a lot of shares given to the insiders. I will just throw this out there and anyone feel free to comment. I bet a very low ball offer will come in. At low prices, when you have a million shares and have self admitted that "you just ...more

Thanks for the input. What would you consider a "low ball" offer ? Anything less than the valuation ?  It's our hope that even those of us with xthousands of shares can come out of this soon with life-changing numbers, considering our investment at the time was/is a lot of money for us- not to mention the time factor involved - coming up to 15 years for me.  Trying to ...more

I like Aea257’s valuation and that is reasonable for sure. Yes, anything less to me would be low ball but where is that line drawn?  Let’s look at it this way and you decide. Say you bought 2000 shares in LOM medical international back in 2002 at 3.25 usd per share which was about 5 dollars Canadian. Back then there were somewhere around 6.8-7.2 million shares outstanding. Those ...more

So, aea257 , with the latest patents , new additions, CSTD all discussed at the zoom meeting we( my wife and I along with others) are desperate to hear at least some idea of an exit price. It is so hard to speculate. We are trying to make plans for this next year but are cautious. Now we know we have 40million outstanding shares.  In your opinion do you think the offer from BD or others would ...more
