No joy in mudville

Lynas report is nothing to write home about. An optomist would probably see some encouraging news,
but overall there seem to be some problems to overcome. The ASX is getting creamed as I write. One of those deals where all ships go down with the outgoing tide. They are planning to mitigate major issues. The primary being the Malaysian snafoo. How would you like to have a license to process while at the same time be prohibated from bringing in the necessary material that has to be processed. What? Not sure that will be resolved. Also there is an issue with rising costs particularly labor. One bright spot seems to be the margins, which approach 50%. Not bad. The future looks to be another plus. I guess we can hope that the price holds up in the meantime. It is a wait and see game.

Mudville may turn out to be an appropriate name for the location of the proceesing plant in Malaysia. Apparently there have been massive floods in the city and surrounding area where the plant is located. Maybe it will turn into a blessing if the plant gets shutdown. Pretty sure it would be a heck of a write off. Of course they would have to move the Kalgoorlie plant along quickly while they ...more
