happy to see this take place.solves many issues for both.now we know why the share price 
of Marlin has been taken down to levels where the market caps of both companies were roughly 
the same.hope this gets finalized in short order.

Does anyone have any clear idea how it will be beneficial? All i know is at the end of the transaction, instead of holding MLN and FISH I will hold GRR stock.

After discussing with someone in the know, this is what is happening. You will still own FiSH that is not being combined. Malin and GRR are being combined into a new compaay called Mako Mining that will be made up of Marlins La Trinidad and GRR San Albino mines minus the 60m debt on Marlins balance sheet which will go away with the sale of Marlins commonwealth mine in AZ.
