Accounts outside of US or CA

I have a French bank account in Euro and I hold a lot of Mart shares there.  I am yet to receive the dividend payment in that account.  Any of you have a Euro account and are experiencing the same thing?

Please let me know.

I have my Mart shares in a Swedish account. No dividend paid yet..

I am currently a swiss resident with an IB account and have received the dividends with 25% already taken out by the helpful Canadians. If you are a french resident don't forget to pay the 20% or so french dividend tax (which you then may or may not get back after a bunch of paper-pushing depending on the existence and wording of a french double taxation agreement with Canada). Hi, My friends in England have rec'd their dividends, Of course here in Canada I got mine too. Why don't you shoot off an email to your European bank. It did take a few days to settle In my account here, I could see it under the Dividend section, but it did not actually go into my current account for 2 days. GL Rox

Correction, IB took out 15% canadian tax while my german broker took out 25% canadian tax even though I am registered with both of them as a swiss resident. Those banker clowns have absolutely no idea what they are doing.

Etrade took out 15% foreign witholding tax on regular account but did not take anything out on IRA account.
