I think AGIP is tampering as i just read last week that thieving of oil is down and out put of oil is at an all time high in nigeria.

do you think that an $80 billion company (ENI) is really going to purposely rip-off a junior player in a small, far off field?  I don't think its worth their time. However, it does speak to the lack of controls and processes in-country.  Lets remember, the thieves here are not knocking a hole in the pipe and filling up a few drums - they actually weld in taps and take thousands of ...more

Good Morning, Watch22, Yes, I believe there is systematic theft by locals. Just wondering how Enbridge can have so many huge spills but it dosen't seem to hurt the companies s/p. I hate spills, would rather have theft. If we build our own pipeline, it is only 50km long, will it be easier to prevent theft? Looking long term, I think the future for Mart is outstanding.   GL Today, Rox
