Umu-10 Press Release likely to include...

...two facts:

1) TD reached

2) Feet of Oil Pay identified.

I not planning on getting news until last half of September. Here are past PR's for Umu-7; Umu-8; Umu-9 with same two facts:

Umu-9 was exception where they ran open hole wireline logs before continuing with deviated portion of well which discovered sands that Umu-10 is now targetting. Exception becuase it was a production & exploration well.

dr_airtime, it seems that news was released after each well reached Total Depth and open hole wire logs run.   Why would they do anything different this time around?   I suspect that they will reach TD as they indicated prior to the middle of this month, and after running the wire logs will report to shareholders.   Could be this week, but more than likely early next is my guess ...more

Sorry dr_airtime, I just re-read my post and it may sound like I'm dissagreeing with you, but I'm actually agreeing with what you posted.   I just think it will be earlier than the latter half of the month.  It all depends on when they reach TD, they said prior to middle of the month, and how long it takes to run the open hole wire logs.   Should be much longer IMO.  ...more

2guys...   Africa Time!   Been in this stock for 2.5 years and a few constants are: WE HAVE OIL!  It gets stolen... and everything takes longer than you expect. If we get production news this month I'll be shocked.  TD news I expect in 2 weeks. JMO DM

I agree with you DeadMau5, and patience is always warranted with drilling operations.   It's just when a company puts a timeline, it puts an expectation in the marketplace.  The company said Total Depth expected prior to middle of September.  They were very close to TD when they said this, but nonetheless, delays can and usually happen.   They had expected 40 days to reach ...more

"They had expected 40 days to reach TD and it's been over 2 months now.  Don't know why it took longer, but they are still on target to complete the well to TD so that IMO is a good sign."   I bleieve there was some problem with the rig but it was fixed week or two ago.    JFF7

Apparently they had an engine problem on the rig,  But like Oullins reminds us, so long as they complete the well safe and sound without screwups, a few weeks delay isn't worth worrying about.  Just sit back and wait - you are paid a fat divvy to salve your pain.   FWIW, today is the last day to grab the divvy as it goes ex-divvy tomorrow.  And with U10 news coming ...more

Would be nice to get UMU-10 news tomorrw to compensate for the expected .05 divvy dip...it would likely offset it and then some if the results are very positive.

Thanks JustForFun and CalifDreaming.   I agree the important thing is not the time, but the success of a drill program.   FWIW, I think many investors would be extatic to get a 10% annual dividend, as long as they knew it was secure.  That would equate to a share price of $2, which isn't far off.   I think that what investors are looking for is whether the divvy is secure ...more
