A speculation

Perhaps the reason that there has been no deal signed with Shell yet (at least no public disclosure) is that Shell is waiting to see how UMU-10 turns out.  Based on what they find with this well may determine the pipe diameter and other infrastructure needed to move the oil.  Shell probably wants to know how many bopd they will be moving here.  Any thoughts?

No shell is definitely not waiting for UMU 10..they just waiting to go through the slow red tape.. the pipeline has aready been sized . MM
