Ba Da BING Ba Da BOOM!!

Great day for Mart.......Hard cash in my account today(to do whatever with, after the tax man of course!) plus the s/p climbing just beautifully.........Of what i was informed, this next quarterly results will be very good.....Mart is only beginning to warm up, we have many catalyst in the pipe(sort of speak), to bring our s/p much higher.....Mart is a play that moves on the news(get ready), lots a coming(albeit VERY POSITIVE)......GLTA

Don't get me wrong, I like Mart a lot (and remain long..inj fact recently bought more)  but if anyone 'informed you' that next reporting is good they have not explained what has changed from recent qtr report to support such 'information'...nothing!!!  They can ONLY support a 5c divvy from beyond here if UMU10 proves out: the qtr results on existing prodn has nothing ...more

I agree MMT good fortune is just beginning and all shareholders will be rewarded in the future for their patience. UMU11 will be the telling tale for major increase in reserves and future production, pipeline news and new fields are all major future events.

"They can ONLY support a 5c divvy from beyond here if UMU10 proves out: the qtr results on existing prodn has nothing to do with it. Just MHO but that is what the financials reveal."   Wrong They can easily double the production (for years) even if the low sands of UMU10 don't produce. They just need the shell pipe's and two horizontal wells IMO

When I stated  "10 proves out" I was talking only of the top pay but it irks me that Mart have not even confirmed these despite the drill logs having to have confirmed them in the first 30/40 days. Just tell us what they knew in August!!! (ps the field diagrams do not give any indication that there is a reason why they should not be there...again, tell shareholders when the company ...more

Not sure what income statement you're looking at but Q2 suggests that the dividend is sustainable based on current shares outstanding, not fully diluted.  Something else to consider is that a board of directors would not likely approve a dividend that is not sustainable going forward.  The BOD looks at quarter to quarter FcF projections to determine manageable dividend levels.  ...more

malx1, one of the most logical and sensible posts I've read on this board in a long time.

I don't mind being berated for a stupid post but I would never pretend I could manage an oil or many other companies...that is not a mandate to be an investor. However, I have always said that the divvy was dependant on 10 and felt, like you stated, that with the Board making the divvy decision as 10 was being drilled showed confidence in maintaining the divvy as 10 proved out. Just how stupid ...more

They have the ability to produce 18K-19K .  Pipeline restrictions have us at 13K a month (from last update).  It has been posted here that we may be up to 14k-15k.  I don't think we have been ever told what wells they are producing from ie. started producing 9 and scaled back on others.  It really doesn't matter.

Now that is a post I do not understand. They were adj about 12,200 March and 11,700 July. It sure seems relevant that if July includes say 2000boepd from 9 where did the other 2500 go.  I again presume 9 is not or  is minimally in pipe to explain this. JMO but I would wonder about prodn declines of 16% or more. I guess I'll just stay mum as I am long.

Thanks. Yes. I had looked at that before but stopped at the diagram for  the 9 subsurface difference. Seems it came on between Mar and May with marginal contribution, less than 500boepd on the high level graph used, but since is all-well data it could be up to 1000boepd.  Thanks again as shows definitely some in pipe but probably not very much so feel real comfortable with the prospects ...more

mjh. Q1 production (field level, before pipeline losses) = 9,138 bopd Q2 production (same) = 10,532 bopd Umu 9 was tested in early April, and from the Q2 MD&A they clearly state that UMU-9 added to production for the quarter.  As you will know, they don't flow from all the zones, typically only one or two.  With tie ins and other optimization efforts, they likely didn't have ...more

watch22 yup your numbers right :)  Adding to that they can dual string each well and each string can possibly connect 2 zones , so up to 4 sands (zones) can be producing on a vertical well. Looking at UMU 9 , THE upper zones had 11 sands (net oil pay of 260 ft) yet they only tested 5 sands for a total of 11,718 bod...so those other 6 zones have not been tested yet. Now in the lower zones ...more
