Divy is nice to have, but..

enough of the silence!  I was thinking the new CFO would bring enough experience to realize that updates are important for shareholders, both present and future.  We should have had some update on the pipeline agreement with Shell, as announced by Wade at the AGM.  Two months has long since passed.  UMU 10's middle of September has long since passed.  Monthly update for September, has long since passed!

If we are going to take this company to next level, we need to have accountable mangement.

Let's go Wade!

guys who run funds only care about the oil and cash flowing.  they are not going to care about mart management holding the hand of shareholders every day the shareprice heads down.  please can we stop with this "management is not accountable because they are making me wait for an update".  from the chart alone and dealing in such a difficult part of the world its hard to ...more

Nobody said anything about a finishing line, as I expect much more to come.  Just stop setting expectations and falling short.  I could care less about daily/weekly share price fluctuations.  I am have been in this for more than 5 years.  Have seen a lot of similar patterns, some I like, some I don't.  This is a bull board to express feelings/sentiment/information ...more

you've waited for 5 years.  whats another few days/weeks.   the sentiment that mart's management is not accountable because they may be late with one september update or because they are arguably late on umu-10 news is a hard postion to take considering they have brought this company back from the brink, operating in one of the most difficult parts of the world, and initiated a ...more

So a 20% move in the past 5 trading days wasn't enough for you?  And that $0.05 dividend didn't do it for you?  How about the fact that crude is down again, and the fact that almost every other E & P is down today? Did you not get the memo that this company does business in Nigeria?  You've been in this stock for years, yet you forget that news is virtually ALWAYS ...more

You guys should stop putting words into my mouth.  "Waited 5 years," and "20% isn't enough," come on guys.  I hope you are better than that.  Like most investors, I have a core position and a trading account.  I will manage my money as I see fit, as should you.  Apparently, you don't like someone expressing their opinion that management keeping ...more

I agree with you Sueme. If management publicly sets target dates and they are not met they should at least give you an update and new target dates and if they do not want to they should not have released these dates in the first place. Also if they are going to give monthly production etc. they should do it each month not as they do with a hit and miss. Possibly the new CFO will show more ...more
