Finished talking to Investor Relations!

The pipeline has started being built and should be completed by end of the year! We should have some news next week hopefully on Umu-10 on the sands! 2013 will be a good year with a tiny bump with the next quarter earnings, but after that we are off to the races! 2014 will be twice as better as in every aspect as in Earnings, flow rates being doubled , and Ching Ching bigger dividend and share price will be a double from here! People that hold on to their shares will be greatly rewarded! Maybe even a buyout by Asian company! Good luck to the longs!

Thanks.  Who exactly did you speak with?

If they have already started building the pipeline, they must have signed a deal with Heritage and Shell to export through their facilities. But as the pipeline is fairly short, it should be completed a lot sooner than the end of the year. With the increased production and cash flow, Mart will be able to increase the dividend from 20 cents per year to 20 cents per quarter. And that would propel ...more

Just because they've started work on the pipeline doesn't mean the deal is signed, it just indicates they are confident enough in it being signed that they are starting work on the pipeline. It's Nigeria, there could be any one of a number of delays of a bureaucratic nature that delay signing, and until the ink is there, I wouldn't get too ahead of myself speculating on what will ...more

Incorrect.  This kind of forecast is blatantly contrived and unfounded.  There will NOT be an $0.80 dividend.  Factoring in the changes to the tax structure and increasing capex, they will likely maintain the $0.20/yr for the next 12-18 months.  Dividend increases take place when free cash flow increases.

And all of this will be officially announced... when?

Greetings Malx - I would like to invite you to listen to the latest interview wtih the CEO of Mart Resources. In that interview from 3:50 - 4:20 - he expected mid 2013 for pipeline completion. At (5:10 - 5:25) he mentioned a possible bump up (increase) of dividend at that time as well (mid year - 2013). The video can be found at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ej69k1GA3nI Cheers!

I like the Asian (Chinese) takeout scenario. Bring it on. I will not be unhappy with $3.oo per share.  That would be a cheap price but you need to leave something on the table to induce a buyer to put $ 1 billion cash into Nigeria.  Actually, I prefer a $3 cash buyout from a big Chinese oil co. over a merger with Nigerian indigenous co.  Does this mean that the for sale sign is up?

"The pipeline has started being built" ------------------------------------------------ If this is accurate, we should hear something from Mart very soon, as any news regarding the pipeline is hugely material. They may be waiting for more well results, so that they can release a really strong news release. Mart does tend to issue news when they feel like it.
