New interest in Mart

I have just started following Mart and am thinking of Investing. I'm thinking they look like a pretty attractive stock at the moment pricewise. Anyone have any opinions they would like to share? Is the pipeline they are building owned exclusively by Mart? Will it stop all the pipeline losses? Whats the next news release expected to reveal?
Thanks

Your best bet is to log on to Investor Village and follow the Mart board there. Many posters there are very well versed regarding Mart. IF you decide to gamble some cash on Mart get ready for some of the worst feelings of nausea you have ever experienced. I have made money on this play but 95% of the time invested in this one has been filled with aggravation. INA and IAE would be a ...more

They are priced well and they own the majority of the pipeline.  The pipeline losses will likely be cut back but with a max capacity of 40,000 bopd for the new pipeline, even if the pipeline losses continue at 30% we will still see higher net earnings double of what the pipeline currently produces.  This stock has great valuation and potential but it is being hit with some risk over ...more

https://www.theenergyreport.com/pub/co/3448#quote This is another investor who knows the value and potential of this stock.  But of course, it's your call and you shouldn't beleive everything you read on the internet.  I think it's great for a long term hold due to high and regular dividends as well as that fact the company is exanding.  Best to do some homework, the ...more

Hi Junit, welcome to the board of never-ending disappointment. Mart and their partners own the majority of the new Umugini pipeline project, but I have never seen any info in Mart's news releases that tells us exactly what those numbers are. I do know Oando owns 11.25%. If you have tons of patience, buying Mart at these levels should be a reasonable risk/reward situation, but make no mistake ...more

Hey “zeuss55”, “Mart and their partners own the majority of the new Umugini pipeline project, but I have never seen any info in Mart's news releases that tells us exactly what those numbers are. I do know Oando owns 11.25%.” It would be interesting to know the %’s and like you I have not seen anything to provide that ...more

Thanks for that, maybe Mart and their partners own the other 75%? I do remember seeing something about the split, but it may just have been a guess by those who like to make guesses. The number that sticks in my head is 35,000 bod, which would be about 75% of the projected 45,000 bod capacity. It was supposed to be enough to handle all of the present production at Umusadege plus the next series of ...more

Thanks to all for the quick rundown. Lots of good information. I'm wondering will having their own pipeline curb losses down to zero? What about this new Uma 11? That's the newest well that's about to come online right, and is it included in Mart's current reserves count?

Pipeline "losses" will most likely never be zero, but the new pipeline sure wouldn't have the ridiculous rates that we are experiencing with the AGIP line. We have seen negotiated rates of less than 10%, so that should be in the ballpark. UMU-11 is not about to "come online", we are only testing it at the moment. But it shouldn't take long to hook up after that. As for ...more

If we could get to 35,000 bod, Mart wouldn't know what to do with all of the cash flow! :o) Read more at https://www.stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard/v.mmt/mart-resources-inc?postid=21913080#z6ATT7ASVJFLCqdl.99 If we could get to 35,000 bod, Mart wouldn't know what to do with all of the cash flow! :o) Read more at https://www.stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard ...more
