jd43xl here's my take, your's may be different

I'll be getting back into MMT its just a matter of when. I find getting in ex divi is safest but some good news around the divi announcement could  change that long standing pattern. Not sure what the good news might be though. We know the pipeline is last half of 2014 minimally. The only thing left outstanding is the Shell business the announcement of which is very long overdue and of course the pipeline loss allocation decision which I am somewhat leery of.  It does not have to be a good news thing like many are counting on. The probabilities are that it won't be much more than a continuation of what is in place with an adjustment to MMT for dewatering. I don’t expect AGIP and company to turn into nice people and admit to or rebate anything. I’ve never been afraid to take some profit with this stock because the next dip and bounce is always just around the corner. Classic buy on rumour and sell on news because for the longest time the news has not been so favourable. When the pipeline is done and arrangements with Shell have been announced that should change but even with Shell, pipeline loss will still be 16% which is a heck of a lot better than the current +26% but it frightens off the big investors who of course drive share price.

Gibby, good to see you back.  I appreciate your assessment of the current situation but you always seem to slant things on the half empty side. Since you have made so much off MMT you should be a little kinder. We all know what 2013 handed to Mart, maybe just maybe future news will all be positive.  Likely not good news for you but for the longs it will be well deserved.   Suki

gibbons, the pipeline losses on the old Shell line will not be 16%, and your claim proves that you are dishonest, and try to mislead people on this site.
