I think cancelling the dividend is a wise move at this time and most of us expected it.  I think after a couple of good quarters we will see it returned back to the original level of .20 cents per year.

The no dividend news was a real bummer. Makes me wonder what shape we're in if they need to retain $3.5m. Disappointed they didn't announce current production rates, the rig skid to its new location, plus side track well with this update. Umu-13 is another world class drill result. Hope we don't get taken over. I'd hate to lose this opportunity due to some opportunists stink bid. &

I dont think we will ever see a return to a dividend paying company__ They will take that money and overextend themselves in an effort to get bigger and bigger and bigger until all is lost... Thats what greed does to you___ Look at PWT, PGH, SGL, Lightstream and so forth... I'm basing that on what I have seen to be prevalent with small cap Canadian E and Ps... I agree the dividend cut was wise as it perserves capital in this tough time and also goes with the industry trend. The dividend returning to $.20 per year, no way in hell. They've learned their lesson and I'd be suprised if they ever decided to return a dividend. Say in the next few quarters it were to even hit 1.50 which is over 100% increase the divy would be yeilding approximately 13%

The dividend's main purpose was for profit amongst insiders/directors. Some of these guys hold an enormous number of shares. It's been a while since I last checked, but Wade's count was 3million+ or something to that effect a couple of years back. That's $600,000 per year. Pretty good scratch if you ask me. These guys have made their money. Time to regroup and start the cycle over
