Novavax failure = Medicago lead

I don't like to be a ghoul..However, if the MDG product is faster, better and cheaper than the NVAX product quess which will succeed?  Part of being better is efficacy...but being safer is equally important. MDG has to prove its product is better in trials and on Dec.8 the phase I trial results will be very important!

The trials are very short compared to trials in cancer or heart disease...phase II and III should not take long!

The timing of the failure of the Novavax approval could not be better for Medicago! Todays Conference and the World Congress in Brussells will focus attention on Medicago!

A little confusion. It was not Novavax failure but certainly impacts Novavax. FDA panel rejected cell culture flu vaccine produced by Protein science. https://www.medpagetoday.com/InfectiousDisease/URItheFlu/17128
