What has Changed?

Can anyone fill me in on what has changed in the short/medium/long term outlook with MDG. 

As I see it, we were all expecting good results from this round of testing and those were delivered.  There are still agreements on the table which were dependent on this and the Phase II study.  Those are still in place and closer to being realized.  Phase II is still scheduled to go ahead.  Costs for vaccines with this technology are low and the speed at which they can be made are faster than traditional.  Apart taking a beating from those who were ready to sell today regardless of news, it seems we are in a stronger position.

Anyone want to chime in on why we are worse off now?

We aren't worse off.  This is nothing more than a selloff by those taking profit that have been holding waiting for the results of phase one trials, those that thought they could make a quick flip, and those that let their emotions get the best of them.  Lots of new people chiming in on the board with nothing more than pennies to their name that try to get investors all riled up to

I think it is going to take time to properly digest how significant today's news was. The doses were very small in this phase 1 test and as they were found to be safe I would expect that in phase 2 they will increase the dosing level to maximize the effectiveness of this vaccine. Again this is going to take a lot of looking by some very deep minds to get a handle but I think the only GSK
