my latest...two bits

Two weeks after posting my last two bits, I am still fumingnot only at Medicago s’ management mishandling the investment aspect of apotential great company but also at the total nonsense, I have been reading onthis board. If you want to exchange personal insults please utilize the  private message options. I understand that the lack of performance of our favorite stock is frustrating but it is no excuse for bad manners.

From my perspective :

1)Ricky is NOT a pumper in the prerogative sense of  the word.  He is simply an investor who  has total faith in Medicago and its product. He feelcompelled to share his enthusiasm about this company with other readers byposting any information, he feels relevant and interesting. This board would bequite different without Ricky’s contributions and I admire his enthusiasm, hiscommitment and even from time to time, his “bonhomie”.
2)Medicago is fortunate enough to be miles ahead of its competitionwith a process that may revolutionize the field of vaccination. In the field ofimmunology, Medicago has the potential to become a giant to be reckoning with.In terms of research, partnership, milestones, ability to attract importantpartners and contracts, Medicago has made all the right moves.
3)However, in terms of understanding the market, to deal withall shareholders, to avoid stock dilution, to promote “effectively” the company,to properly price and established reasonable conditions for private placements,to truly understand the raison d’être of brokerage houses… it all seems to bebeyond their comprehension.
4)I have been dealing with scientists most of my professionallife. In all cases they are brilliant in their respective fields, most of themare lousy business people and all of them have little understanding of theintricacies of the stock market.

My major concern right now is aneventual total dilution of the stocks, a bad move for actual shareholders but ablessing for new shareholders….and management who  more often than not is granted new options under the proposedconsolidations. When all warrants are exercised we will be approaching the 175million shares, which from my perspective is way too much for a company of thissize

On a more positive note, I expectthat we “may” be moving up when the beginning of phase 2 will be announced inthe weeks to come.

I think people getting upset over the volatility of a junior company's share price is kind of silly.  Anything can happen on the Venture exchange because retail investors do not have control of the share price for the most part.  Now MDG has crossed over to the more trustworthy TSX.  That should give some confidence here that the share price will recover and start moving in ...more

In addition, won't MDG's technology be able to produce more than just aflu vaccine?  What if they start producing vaccines against Malaria,Polio, chicken pox, measles, hepatitis???Correct. I contacted Medicago and they have the potential to produce vaccines for a variety of viruses. Likely cheaper and faster than everyone else. I don't believe there is an effective malaria vaccine ...more
