Less is more
Medicago investors:
On February 8, 2011 I posted that I believe Medicago is a great story (but continues to lose money). I believe, however, that one day, when they start earning real money.......or maybe even before that, that the share price will appreciate considerably, but patience is required.
Since that post I also posted on February 10, 2011because I wanted to guess the share price of MDG this summer along with other posters as part of a contest. My guess was 75 cents,.........I am hopeful it will be much higher.
Today I am posting because I have noticed that the board, in my opinion only is really turning into a forum for crybabies and snivellers who have little or zero real input. One word posts are completely useless, as are snide remarks and insults. Since my post on February 8, 2011, there is one person who has posted 95 times.....yes, 95 times...it isn't hard to figure out who that is. There are a few more who are not far behind that person. My questin is this: What on earth is happening with MDG on a daily basis that you need to post 95 times in about three weeks? I don't think I have ever seen someone micromanage one company's progress to such an extent......it borders on ridiculous. Will there be twice as many posts if MDG ever goes to two or three dollars??
My advice is to let MEDICAGO do their work on a daily basis and don't sweat every tiny detail, you have ZERO control over what this company does.
I owned stock in Petrolia (PEA - a junior oil company) since October 2009. When it ran up from 50 cents to over $2.00 in one week (recently), I dumped all my shares and made $63,000 profit. I knew (or hoped), that one day I would cash in.....and I did. However, I would have gone insane had I tried to post every thought that entered into my mind in the 17 months that I owned the stock. I was not going to post 2000 times during those 17 months to convince everyone how good it was, or badmouth anyone who bashed the company. I am in the stock market for one reason like most...to make lots of money. I am fortunate that I have enjoyed some very good growth on most of my investments.
To wrap up, lets use this board constructively. Going on and on and on about irrelevant things that don't really pertain to the company just wastes everybody's time. Finally, if anyone out there agrees with me, please put the constant posters on "ignore", as I plan to do. They don't deserve a forum to waste our time. If any (pertinent) news comes out, you can read about it on the company's website, you won't need to hear about it from anybody on this board.
All the best,
Tbonepickens
