Not sure I understand about the sell

How does it work ? What is that 75 days thing ? 

Can I sell whenever I want ?

Not sure I fully understand this either. If the deal gets approved then the company will be wholely owned by Mitsubishi and PMI and the regular/retail shareholders would have been compulsorily bought out for cash at 1.16 per share. If that is the case it won't continue to be a public company will it? So, why the heck have there been over 22M shares bought already today above $1.14? What ...more

The deal isn't approved until it is voted on at the August shareholder meeting. And some people are trying to make a "guaranteed" 0.02$ on big volume by holding for barely 2 months.

Blitzer2, Two things are going on here. Those selling see there will be no more upside so they are selling to invest  elsewhere. I see NVAX is up so some many be going over there (For the recond I sold my NVAX for $2.60 today) Those buying .... Well, I would say PMI and Mitsubishi are to insure  they enough to have control. Sad day for sure And it's not just the money thing ...more

Thanks beenthere for the imput. I understand the people who believe there is no more upside so they are out of here and on to other things. However the others, the buyers who bought over 30M shares @ 1.14 and above must believe there is some upside? Either they : - think the company will go on trading long enough to see some kind of decent sp increase from now and they can sell higher before ...more

blitzer2, There probably a few will take the gamble and buy shares with the hopes of something happening Well, it really isn't much of a gamble because you buy at say $1.15 today and will get $1.16 back. Unless the deal falls through which is highly unlikely. Yes, when they get bought out MDG will cease to exist. I might add everything else goes when they crease to be a public traded ...more
