proven to be a pumper and completely misguided. As a long time investor with MedEx I'm extremely frustrated beyond words the lack of leadership the lack of cojones from this team to be transparent about what's going on is unbelievable. At this point it's like watching the Titanic movie slowly ever slowly sinking extremely painful to watch

I remember reading his comments all the way back on the YAHOO forum. AS stated before due your own DD and do not worry about one person. This is just truly sad for what all of us are watching with the way this stock has gone. I agree heartedly with most on their comments regarding lack of communication. What is disgraceful is all the words used on how many scopes will be deployed, and in talks ...more

The technology is probably BS, too. By now other forms have already replaced it. It has to be in pharmacies, and that was a pretty big lie... 'please find room for our device in your Sq footage/area'. Shoppers would have to have a mighty big draw to people wanting to know if they have skin cancer or not.... Or have the referrals piling up from doctors for people to use the machines ...more

Is it a coincidence that Louie Canitano left Medx a little while back....hmm I'm wondering if he was Insightful all this time. Louie was at one time the CEO of the company but over the years he got demoted down to director within the laser division. I guess even he had enough and left.

"Canitano was CEO, then demoted and finally left" What did he do for MDX while CEO that should have prevented a demotion? I don't think him leaving is a big deal, The MDX ship is already sinking.

He was a non factor I agree. I worked on their technology years ago. The laser technology was dated but was the only incoming revenue there that was established. The Siascopy technology was acquired years ago and was quite cool but the real challenge was getting the SASS aspect to work. It's sad that it did not take off.....lots of potential.

The SAAS model was, according to Insightful1, supposed to have made a lot of us rich or richer. I believed in this technology, still do but who am I? As for you SHIOTA, You worked for those guys, is the SAAS model obsolete and if not, do you see light at the end of the tunnel? MDX is in big need of money. Do they have the right leaders now?
Comment by Rubberband on Oct 05, 2022 11:42pm
So you worked for Mdx did you. In what division, and what unit we're you in. But most importantly what side of the building we're you in. I don't care who what or where Insightful1 is. I only care right now that this has gotten real bad real fast. Now why?. Biggest problem is nobody is speaking up, like our new boss. If they are hardup for $500 to drop a proper detailed news release ...more

I was there for about 1 year within the production group. The building they occupied was small, had an old SMT machine in the back shipping area and the lab was managed by two people. Back then Spearn was there, Canitano was more or less the operations leader and Druhan was Business development. I left as I found work close to home and they were having cash flow issues....not a good sign. I liked ...more

The SASS model was not obsolete in my opinion. I think the biggest issues was the challenges in getting it to market and finding partners in the roll out. The system was good as a standalone device so they could have deployed it to say an individual outfit but adding SASS gave it a reoccurring revenue model. Also the other advantage would be things like software upgrades, servicing could be ...more

no offense taken. I've been reading this board since I left Medx Health and I am not vested in the company in anyway. Seriously though, the technology is good but there are a number of competitors coming into the space with deeper pockets so it's going to be a challenge for them to get a firm place in the market. I think they missed their chance when the Shoppers went belly up. People here ...more

Shiota, thanks for your input. Do you see any chance that they could be taken over? Or, will the competition just wait and grab the assets at 1 cent on the dollar from the trustee in bankruptcy?
Comment by Shiota on Oct 07, 2022 3:14pm
That's an interesting take given the financial postion MedX is in. The technology in my opinion has value, the hardware is good, the SASS model is attractive in that it creates reoccurring revenue. A company like Richmar which has a similar portfolio and actually purchases some of MedX laser equipment rebranded of course would be a good fit. Bankruptcy could take years before the technology is ...more

I really think we should be looking at the example hockey Canada did with its board of directors. The best quote was a fundamental collapse of leadership. I think we all can agree that that's what this company's seeming to have lack of leadership lack of communication lack of Truth. The fewer people that will come to the table with money the sooner this company will have to deal with it ...more

Well said! You know each of the members both past and present have the needed skills and abilities but as you know it also takes chemistry to make the members work as a team. Their lack of leadership is what probably drove opportunities away and not so much the technology. The system either performs or it doesn't. The management role is to show how the product is value added. Truly wished ...more
