The short position is almost irrelevant, in my opinion, as I assume it will be covered by the private placement shares. In other words: many of the private placement investors - lined up well in advance of the announcement - sold the stock short at prices above the private placement price, and will invest the proceeds in the new shares being offered, and then cover the short position ...more

So, at this moment, my screen shows exactly 1.5 million shares on the ask at 0.045. Exactly 1.5 million. All the sellers add up to 1.5 million in a coincidence or one seller offering 1.5 million shares? Which is more likely?

Exactly 200,000 shares on the bid. Very interesting. As others have said, I agree the price won't move much, if at all, until after the PP closes. Long investors might want to notify their brokers not to lend out their shares to the short sellers.

just place a sell order at a high price and the shares can't be used

Thanks for the reminder. Just put all my shares up with GTC order to sell at $1. They won't be using any of my shares to support the shorts.
