Spoke With a Truck Driver Today
Load limit 40 tonnes in Ontario or the maximum posted on any bridge to be crossed. Spring thaw half load limit in Ontario usually lasts three months depending on the weather. Less half load down time for permafrost locations. HOWEVER: The man told me roads can be leased, oil and gas companies do it here all the time as does the wind turbine companies, thus the load limit may be increased. Not sure by how much but no more than posted on any bridge or the weakest link in the route. The kicker is the cost of leasing the road if this indeed is done in quebec.
