Waste Disposal
For those of you that don't toggle between the IFR and MGX boards, Geodude has posted some interesting facts from 2004. I didn't realize that Husky and others have been long-hauling waste to Alberta for the last 8 years or more. I'm flabbergasted that the industy has made zero progress on the "made-in-the-NWT" solution that Henry Sykes keeps talking about. I sure hope Geodude is right in his timelines for finding a disposal site that ALL parties can agree on.

One more follow-up question Oileng. I'm sure glad you're semi-retired and able to make yourself available!!!! Please forgive my ignorance but what is happening to the existing waste at Norman Wells? I'm assuming that conventional fields would produce waste of some kind.
