Frac Job

I thought MGX was going to do a propane frac using GasFrac's technology; it wouldn't be a water-based frac job.

Can anyone confirm?

I bleieve it is an oil based frac.   They are going to fracture both the Bluefish and the Canol. The clay content is less than 5% so swelling clays should not be a problem.  I think Husky is doing something similar.

OilEng, I had a problem with my browser and had it remedied earlier this morning.  In the technical submissions logged with the Water board the MSDS's reference GasFrac several times and volume of propane under management is significantly large.  I believe MGX is looking at a propane-base media.  I believe Husky is using oil-based fracing fluids.
