Great News

Today Husky received its licence for the all weather road from the Sahtu. No enviromental review. This will allow year round drilling and testing. Awesome!!!

OilEng, forgive the question, i'm not near a map;  if memory serves and reading the release you attached, does this location not run EXTREMELY close if not touching the actual MGM lands?

Hi Small Bet: You are right Husky is close to MGM. Below is a link to a map of the oil developments. The other interesting thing to note is how Conoco's winter roads are tieing to the Husky all-weather road. You can start to see the outline of an all-weather main highway on the west side of the river. Notice also how Conoco has crossed the Mackenzie River at Norman Wells with its ice bridge ...more
