Agree but you can't cook in Iceland, why is it not included is because you can't get any money out of the country that easy, this investment needs to be sold off and maybe the bonds will finish this off for good, if not maybe it will show well on the financials.cheers

Newstock44, I hear what you are saying, but Alterra seems to be a part of an oligopoly in Iceland.  Ross Beaty mentioned at the shareholder meeting they were 1 of 3 power companies in Iceland.  For some reason I kept on finding 4 companies in simple searches. Iceland was on 60 Minutes awhile back (if my memory is right, perhaps it was Barron’s?) on a recovering economy, with ...more

Iceland may not be a huge money maker at the moment, but why would a company whose core business is the development and operation of renewable energy facilities want to leave the world's largest per capita base of advanced geothermal production and use?
