BoldForbes: I am on the call
Well, I will try to be. I just completed another acquisition with a team which wants to work hard and to accomplish tasks for a better future. They are hunger, but lack vision, leadership and capital. The team I am a part of is going to provide this.
The Iceland financial we disappointing, but they have been a stable component of the company for years and are expanding, so a little tolerance is allowed. But so is the stock selloff. With no follow up story or news (yes, the company will tell you they are in a "quiet period before earnings") having that sit for 12 days...well it sort of rubs the salt in the wounds a bit.
The have the capital and vision...they need a spark on the inspiration and leadership perhaps...this is my perspective. I am willing to listen to theirs.
Perhaps they are too well compensated or comfortable, not hungry enough to "want it" ? No clue here...
This call better be good for the stock to instantly rebound you will need a "surprise" like Ross, Mr. Beaty himself, stating he will be taking the lead as not only the "Executive Chairman", but also as the day-to-day President of operation...or they are bringing someone else in. This does not mean getting rid of anyone else, but a restructure may be necessary.
If no restructuring an explanation of why the status quo. I believe in fair shakes and in giving enough time to execute and grace to learn from lessions; but I have also been patient for years and we are withing a year of my 2018 target.
