I went down the rabbit hole researched ( shelly - ohio - irish ) dolomite and cement markets.
Cement markets are massive. Same as the fertilixer companies ( think )
Was wondering why Western is not using their own - magnesium in Nevada.
12 % grade in Nevada vs dolomite's can host up to - 50+% mangesium.
Essentially - i wanted to see who Western was wrapped up with.
Yup.... they can have it. lol

Like, instead of using chinese spot - ask what American Magnesium is selling their magnesium for per tonne - to establish prices - set the tone in North America.

Which brings me back ful lcircle to the ideas i already came up with...
Perhaps using sodium chloride andconverting the Mg2CO3 to an MgCl2 + Na2CO3
Then... see if the MgC12 can be processed at a gas company's - steam reformation. - hydrogen gas ( bonus ) place a hydrogen toll on the chloride hydrogen - $$$$ - Mg0 This idea of mine - would be a unique idea.
Novel. Something that could aide the junior when it comes to proprietory processes.
Haven't come across any other using it.
Using a sodium chloride solution format could be way cheaper than - furnace.
This format provides 2 options of extraction.
- Electrolysis
- Steam Reformation
What else did i find out ? I found out that common Dolomite has up to or more -
50% MgO. Perhaps the Driftwood was framed around a - constraint - of purer Mgo with lessor calcium;
A core body with less Ca.
43 101 does reveal - dolomite surrounding - the core 8 million tonne resource.
Which begs... if common Dolomite can contain 50% ( approx ) Mgo then...
Should the junior create a two desposit resource ?

Could be to thier benifit. I tried searching out - how much dolomite Ohio has. Nice photos on line - quarries - but no real info on their dolo reserves.
