I was just researching - kinds of magnesium -
I questioned - how does xmg know for certain what kind of magnesium they have ?
Testing the magnesium involves -
crushing, milling, removing some impurities, and.... fire assaying for over 1 hour.
resulting in - magnesium oxide. ( mgo )
But... if one were to test the magnesium prior to assaying,
what would the magnesium be labelled ?
Keep in mind - some of the impurities involves - calcium.
Calcium carbonate = co2 attached to the calcium.
Where am i headed with this subject ? Simply put - what if the magnesite, or magnesium, were - BRUCITE ?
With a hydrogen attached ?
Or a hydromagnesite having both carbon and hydrogen attached ?
Based on
hisrotical photos of, driftwood compliments of, Kaiser, the above grade magnesium depoist lends the attributes of - quartz crystaline in nature.
And... well, i couldn't help but think...
Reefs, Ocean, Water... magnesium absorbtion of, hydrogen.
If others have followed my posts in research -
Magnesium makes for an ideal - hydrogen stroage.
What if nature has already ifused a hydrogen with in the - magnesium rock ?
Which is why.... i'm suggesting to do a retake on assaying - not only to look for other portential
minerals but also - a hydrogen vlaue that may already be baked with in -
Extraction wise...
If one were using say... chloride to perform a swap transfter - what if hydrogne off gassing were feasable ? Could offer a useful energy already with in the magnesium - something to think about.
Could offer an alternative solution for - energy.
Instead of hydro.

Simply compare photos of, magnesite vs brucite vs hydromagnesite.
Many of the online photos do look similar... which begs the question... what if ?
What if Driftwood - were a brucite or hydromagnesite ?
Again... visualize the Kaiser photos - showing the above grade deposit.
Appeared crystaline in nature to me.
And to reinforce this- the 43% is = magnesium.
But... one must ask, what are the other mineral constituents that amass - 100%
My hunch says... crystaline - quartz.
Now let's ask... could there be a hydrogen bond with quartz ?
This is where one focuses on the entire - rock structure -
Magnesite with in the quartz.
Is the magnesite also - bonded - with the quartz ?
Ahhhh....
Or... encapsulated by a crystaline quartz ?
If others have a full understanding - of how much hydrogen magnesium can store,
they'd know it's near equivelent with, compressed hydrogen under cold temps.
If memeory calls - magnesium can hold upto - 70% hydrogen.
Now... think along the lines of, 8,000,000 tonnes and the dynamics of, small moleculars of
magnesium each holding hydrogen bonds.
