CRITICAL MINERALS STRATEGY ( flawed )
Why would i say tihs ?
Well, they did ask for feedback - asking for other's opinions.
My own answers is... flawed.
- Canada doesn't have the money, or enough of it..
- The billions it does have - stretched over many years -
- Much of the monies are reinvested in it's own sustainable programs - not direct to mines.
- Monies directed at remote projects needing road infastructures -while projects with road
accessibilty are ???
- Strategy is designed to invite foreign investment into Canada, seeking outside ofcountry funding.
( we don't have enough monies ) lol - monies we do have are allocated to the - new programs.
- The monies they do have ( billions ) should not go into new stakholder or strategy programs,
nor geoscience that might compete with existing geologists, nor funding for permitting offices
that are already funded by Gov't... again, invest the billions into - current projects that have roads
I've never seen a plan such as this... so flawed.
Yet.. so easy to fix.
Cut all new funding to new programs.
Redirect to critical mineral projects that require the funding.
That simple.
WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON ?
READ.... read it all.
Canada’s critical minerals strategy: Discussion paper
https://www.canada.ca/en/campaign/critical-minerals-in-canada/canada-critical-minerals-strategy-discussion-paper.html
EXAMPLE -
In total, Budget 2022 proposes to provide up to $3.8 billion in support over eight years, on a cash basis, starting in 2022-23, to implement Canada’s first Critical Minerals Strategy.
3.8 billion
Over 8 long years.
$475 million per year
Now deduct the costs that are needed to keep all the new programs that this strategic plan has created. lol, lol, lol - no money left.
Is it any wonder why - this strategic program is seeking - foreign investments ?
To think... how many projects arew with existing infastructure, roads, power...
But are denied. Yup... throw the monies 9 what ever is left over ) to far remore regions
where there are no roads at - very low grade depoists - NWT.
Brilliant.

The TSX-V should step in.
They have the brain power, know the industry, globally and locally.
I just don't have the faith in this new - strategic plan.
If it's so sustainable - then what's happened to sustaining of - markets.
Last time i heard - inflation should increase valuations, not decrease.
And they want foreign invesment to buy in ?
lol
The plan is... flawed.
No foreign country has the money to invest.
World economy is in, depression.
And the monies Canada does have, much of it is - allocated to their own programs - lol -
I implore others to open the 2 links above.
Read, Learn... know what's really going on.
Cheers....
