SORBENTS

Sorbents involves ( target absorbtion ) and convert with ion exchange.
Swapping chemical structures.

EG - Lithium Chloride + Carbonic Acid
= LiCO3 and left over chloride.

Following equation is interchangable ( reversable )
Li 2CO 3 (s) + 2 HCl (aq) → 2 LiCl (aq) + H 2O (l) + CO 2
co2 off gases

LiCL(aq) + CO2  = Li 2CO 3 + H2 ( hydrogen gas )
hydrogen gas off gases

   Think....
   what's the advantage of seq co2 in oilbrines ? ( ZS2 )
= H2 bonus gas or, if it bonds to hydrocarbons then = nat gas
= Lithium carbonate ( direct evolution )  saves a chem process above grade.
