PRG is paying out Dividends

https://www1.hkexnews.hk/listedco/listconews/sehk/2024/0830/2024083000593.pdf

"On 30 August 2024, the Board declared an interim dividend of HK$0.0295 per ordinary share. The total payout for the interim dividend will amount to approximately HK$59,000,000 (~7,6Mio USD). The aforesaid interim dividend will be paid on 25 September 2024 to the Shareholders whose names appear on the register of members of our Company at the close of business on 17 September 2024."

What the MJS MGM did not achieve for YEARS, PRG investors will get in their first year of investing, after their bought in on the lowest level 0,55HKD (upper level 0,75HKD) .

This is a shame. This is just dirty of MJS MGM.
So far, MJS has not brought up any good reason for the IPO.

------------

As dirty as it is, and i really believe the MGM should feel how dirty, this is the past. MJS is "only" a shareholder and has the same righs like all PRG shareholders.

Quiet they went to all those who have always said that MJS will never give its shareholders a share of the profits. Chinese (racist titles) are all “cheaters”.   There was never any useful argument, evidence or proof of anything. Except that there was no dividend and the share price did not develop. Arguments that it was due to PRG's long IPO, or any other kind of argument, it ...more

The key takeaway that I took from PRG's HKEX announcement is that it is an interim semi-annual dividend. This implies that there may be two payments each year. If so, then MJS would be entitled to receive 70.5% on over US$15 million over the course of a year and subsequently redistribute this to its shareholders, such as us. Neither you nor I really know the intricacies behind the IPO other ...more

HI 22882288, picking up your argument on the current dividend as "an interim semi-annual dividend." It is likely, that with estimated 20 million USD net profit for 2024 and growing earnings for 2025 and beyond, funds would be sufficient to provide for multiple/2 dividend payments each year, as it is standart with other mining companys in the sector. MJS is eligeable for 70,5 ...more

Yes, with sufficient free cash flow and available cash on hand, we can reasonably anticipate two PRG dividends each year going forward for the June/December half-years respectively. That would mean dividend announcements in March 2025 and August 2025 followed by record dates in April 2025 and September 2025 respectively and finally payments in May 2025 and October 2025 respectively.  As far ...more
