The Company’s exploration and evaluation assets comprise properties located in Kenora, Ontario (the Kenora Uranium Project) and Erongo Province, Namibia, Africa (the Rossing Project). The Company owns a 100% interest in the Richards Lake Uranium Project located around Kenora, Ontario. The Rossing North Uranium Project is located in the Erongo Province, Namibia, Africa. It owns an 85% undivided interest in Exclusive Prospecting Licenses (EPL) 8531 and 8115. These licenses are located in Erongo Uranium Province of Namibia, Africa, where Madison holds rights to EPL-7011 (85% interest). EPL-8531 is located approximately 50 kilometers (km) west of the Rossing Uranium Mine. EPL-8115 is located about 18 km southwest of the Rossing Uranium Mine.

TORONTO, Dec. 12, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Madison Metals Inc. (“Madison” or the “Company”) (CSE: GREN) (OTCQB: MMTLF) is pleased to provide an update on its recent exploration activities at the Company’s Khan Project at Madison West in Namibia’s highly prospective Erongo uranium province. The project consists of Mining Licence 86A (“ML86A”) and Exclusive Prospecting Licence 8905 (“EPL-8905”) and is immediately southwest of the producing Rssing Uranium Mine (Figure 1). Historically, detailed exploration for uranium has never been conducted at ML86A due to copper mining activities within the licence.
