Hrattle and 3P

Could you please take your irrelevant quarrel somewhere else! I know one have to stand a lot of useless posts at these boards, but less crp would make a better board. Hrattle, try to focus on the company and not a board member. If you wish to create balance here, attack MGP, not 3p!

...attack MGP... MGP is behaving much as expected - I do have a complaint - that they didn't resume drilling at Headway straight away or at least made their plans clearer. This has cost shareholders. But otherwise they are a typical junior explorer. Why would I attack them? I warned of the risk of a PP long ago and acted accordingly.

hrattle -- Are you really complaining about not currently drilling at Headway ? We knew that and when the SP fizzled that morning after the revised MB numbers plus possible PP were clear sell signals . You got completely out with a profit and still another chance to reload at a much lower price .What is to complain about ? LOL . I took 25% out to play with the graphites . Many ...more

What is to complain about ? A bad decision is a bad decision. I took my profits so is raining on their parade unfair? Maybe - you might say it doesn't help those who are still long - but is it better for future analysis to ignore these risks? I do wonder how they make these decisions and what advice they take? Who would have told Jim that suspending Headway and doing a PP would be good for ...more

Stopping the Headway drilling was a decision by LC not Jim . He is correct to wait until he knows he has a competant replacement . Temp diversion to the Madsen to get the new guys feet wet and expand those claims reserve count is a prudent decision . The PP is another thing but that is how they raise their cash flow no alternative there . Last summer the SP was strong here . It bounces up and down ...more

...a decision by LC not Jim. That's a cop out. LC walked (the details of which we are not party to) but Jim decided how to deal with that. Are you sure he couldn't have found a drill crew for Headway if he really wanted to? This is Red Lake afterall. He is correct to wait... I suspect a few shareholders might not feel that way. If Headway eventually hits most will still wonder why he ...more

Jim is managing the budget and the project by setting the priorities therefore the company is doing at this time what it is doing, the captain is steering the ship. I feel pretty confident on his actions and MGP does not have unlimited funds to operate all the ongoing projects the way some SH would like it to. Lets wait for March 20 closing of the financing to show that he has the support ...more

I feel pretty confident on his actions... Will you feel as confident if the PP is re-priced? I don't know that it will be but the signs are not good - they are asking for a near 25% premium to market.

All gold stocks are getting hit . That has nothing to do with management . Glad i picked up a bunch of graphite co's though . Wouldn't be surprised if a short attack was put on them though over the short term .

The silver lining of Gold stocks getting hit is that one can continue buying producers at bargain prices. Putting thousands into a PM fund monthly and I would love another 6 months at bargain basement prices. I think that some senior gold stocks will move up substantially in the longer term. Watch the dividends paid by gold producers increase substantially over the coming years.
