HRATTLE

Dear Hrattle,

Why do you persist in pushing the bear story on MGP?  You aren't short because the stock can't be borrowed, so what is your motivation?

Are you an ex employee perhaps?  Trying to push your previous employer out the back door?

At the end of the day, you have not provided one fundamental reason for arguments about Mega except that gold will fall.   This is not enlightening anyone.

Perhaps waste your time elsewhere please.

Maybe the buying in Mega is because this company has a whole lot of gold resources for a very low market value?

... pushing the bear story on MGP? MGP is down 50% YTD and more than 90% from its 2009 high. Need I say more? MGP is pushing the bear story I am merely paying attention. MGP made a huge strategic error with Headway, otherwise I think they have done what most other juniors have done. All gold companies have been guilty of believing the goldbug story - some of them have done so cynically but I don ...more

Hrattle, I don't know about you, but generally I find that fact something is down over 90% from the high is an opportunity for a major reversal than a future indicator of further downside. Gold equities compared to gold (as a ratio of major benchmarks) are cheaper than they have been in 60-70 years.  There is strong evidence the ratio of gold equities to gold at current levels will lead ...more

... fact something is down over 90% from the high is an opportunity for a major reversal ... Not a fact. Not even logical. You are saying the further something falls the greater the chance it will rise again. So if MGP had only dropped 80% it wouldn't have as much chance of rebounding. It may work with balls - not with investments. Most of your logic about gold falls into the same trap. Here ...more

Hrattle, Don't distort my words in an effort to push your own personal agenda aginst this company. I said  "I don't know about you, but generally I find that fact something is down over 90% from the high is an opportunity for a major reversal than a future indicator of further downside." Of course the fact something falls does not mean it has value, but looking through ...more

BRAVO Goldencrane.Your post was not only open minded but it clearly discusses the upside potential of this company. To even think that you can buy shares in this company for .12 is beyond logic. Cash in the bank. Proven resources on a few properties. Maybe as many as 6 confidentiality agreements with mid-tier and majors and MB with an anticipated new 43-101 that could take that project from a ...more

the fact something falls does not mean it has value In fact I suspect stocks that have fallen 90% are just as likely to fall another 90% as do anything else but that's just anecdotal.  when the underlying companies are creating value with those assets BUT NOTHING HAS CHANGED! MGP have been "creating value" all during the 90% fall. In fact the value creation is on a downward ...more
