Thank you retiredCF.  The buyout offer did look low and it looks like an internal deal for benefit of management and Starwood more than shareholders.  At such a low payout ratio - they could have increased their dividends for a long time especially considering the savings on internalization . . .  I think they were very smart and cunning to have such a big breakup fee to force ...more
