Bonkers, I can't figure this one out

everything points to the cost of opening a new mine, and on their own done. No dilution of shares, no offerings, no reverse splits, no sign of bankruptcy. Any one have a clue? I just bought a million shares at..02 cents. I hope I'm not missing something? Anyone have a clue?

The current prices does look tempting given the amount of sell off it has incurred but my assumption is they need more money and institutions know this which explains the selling in the stock . They burned through 11 million in October as shown in the Nov 4 press release and was down to 12 million in cash. Dikulushi still has mining dilution issues and is far from being profitable. So I think it ...more

I completely agree, however, what a tempting takeover? Pennies on the dollar, an entity could buy this up right now at 5 or 6 cents and have a completely built mine for let's say double today's market cap at 12 million. Bringing their coast to price well in line. I just can't see the downside here at. 02 cents. Bought myself a million shares this morning at. 02 cents. I think this is a ...more

also, this kind of volume over the last.... what is it 4 days? There is something afoot! This company usually used where? 30,40k a day?

this same thing had been happening a lot. Last week a saw mgp do the same and the week before kwg, then this week mwe and men, not to mention tgz volume had been very healthy lately. I predict same thing happens as last year a nice 50‰-100%boost in resources stocks grin January through to match....... Ahhhh the good old days.... Seems so long ago 😉

Its very confusing...why would anyone be selling this ...millions of shares for .02 when you know they paid a lot more than that for them...not even tax loss is justifiable ..is there a leak of bad news??

What's even more confusing is that this just had volume over 10 million dollars and nobody is on here talking about it. Thats whats very odd. There has gotta be more folks invested in this company that must be still in awe of what happened today and yesterday.

has anyone checked out the structure of this company? It's very convoluted. Anvil owns, mawson, the Chinese company minmetals owns Anvil, this could be restructuring. Very strange stuff. If anyone actually knows who owns this company and what they might be doing, I'd like to know. It simply could be tax loss, but the company itself restructuring so that they may claim tax loss in Canada or ...more

It is my understanding that Mawson owns 90% of Anvil Mining which holds the land in DRC. I hope that is helpful, if I'm wrong please let me know cause you got me thinking I'm missing something.

kstull ; anvil hasn't traded since 2012, they were bought out buy minmetals a Chinese company. Mawson website says 90‰ owned by anvil, anvil no longer trades. Go to morningstar shareholders ownership to see who actually owns mawson west. It is primarily Chinese owned. It's very conveluted, I'm not sure why there website says owned by anvil unless anvil is now private. I'm confused ...more

I found that on april 20 2010 Mawson bought Anvil for shares in Mawson. That gave Mawson 90% interest in the 2 mines, land and exploration, through the Dikilushi Mining Convention, the other 10% is owned by a foundation for the community improvements. Thats what I have figured out so far. I will be holding long. glta
