WHY

Kinda the question here.  With so much apparent good going on--WHY?  Why would ya dump it.  Why would GAL invest so much money at three times the current share price.  Why if the resource is so large and easy to get would peeps dump?  Hmmmm.  I own it and i suppose I am  long.

I don't think the smart money is dumping here, I think there is just little volume, no catalyst for a while, lots of good deals right now. As for why the stock is not going up? This is a real prove it type of situation, mines are in Africa, second not in production, company has lost 90%value in a year, economy is very shaky worldwide. Although there is incredible upside here, there is risk. I ...more

You guys do realize that we are in a bear market right now? The entire North American market is on the decline since the beginning of 2015. This is the time when smart people load up with shares

Lol, I sold just over 100k shares not even 10‰ of my holdings in mwe, I would not be posting if it wasn't one of my largest holdings, but also one of my most speculative holdings, I believe they're is huge upside, I peeled off 5g, not a big deal, and once again nothing for people to panic over!

Take a look at PRU. On december 19th there was about 44mil shares traded on the same day and HUGE sell with apparently no good reason. That day PRU closed at 0.19c. One month later it's at 32.5c. People have their own reason for selling but right now, like PRU, MWE is victim of MM.  Some big guys want in cheap ... IMO 3.5c ... and once they have their share, they will want the price to ...more

Now you're getting it. There are multiple stages that the market makers have to go through. They first accumulate by creating a supply in the market (they have a sales team in their brokerage), once they load up, next they promote the stock to their clients (remember it's not just one broker, it can be multiple institutions in it), once the promotion phase is done and company releases good ...more

I forgot to add.. this is why stock brokers usually have high minimums in order to open an account; they don't want to be dealing with poor people. They want the rich and dumb in there. If you think about it, a high number of investors don't really know what they're doing so they listen to their broker's advice, which is a bad idea. I find college students who are starting out with ...more
