Just like smoke detectors. How many schools in Ontairo??? How many units per school , every floor, every, what ,, 20 -39 ft. ??  x $20k?? No way. the school board doesn't have that money & don't try to sell"it's for the protection of our kids"... What happens if they detect the virus?? then what, shut down the school.. clean it. What does they do now when a teacher has it & brings it to school??  Nothing,, they only shut down if it is massive,, if a lot of people have it. If they sold for $100,, ok  not $20,000.00  x 100 per one school,, $2,000,000.  Ther are 3948 elementary schools & 880 secondary schools in Ontario=  4,828 schools  x $20,000(one unit per school) =$96,560,0000.  for one unit per school , , ten per school , $9,656,000,000 . that's billions.. Just test the kids & teachers.

I think your cost estimates are too high. School funding is going to come from emergency funds from government, this expense would be a drop in the bucket relative to the amount that the deficit has expanded this year. Would nt even move the needle. For example, what would you say is an acceptable cost per student to have their classrooms monitored by this? I don't think $400 is too
