IMHO - KNR may be taken out with larger integrator before sales gain full traction.  Problem is that KNR would have to consider it as some larger players have their eyes on KNRs overall market client base.  This is an increasingly hot area.

Also possible since he may not have the contacts to make the big sales happen.....a big company would.

Energy market is a bit "rigged" also against upstarts -- I use my "relatively new" furnace as an example.  Big brand name unit but the darn unit won't let me connect an independent thermostat to it (like a modern EcoBee or Nest, both of which have outstanding design and functionality).  Instead, I have to go with the company's proprietary, clunky POS ...more

A natural takeover target ,enterprise companies,school boards and such have locked HVAC contracts with companies like Honeywell, other companies Cannot add to their systems in most cases, i cans ee that being a real struggle to KNR, adding to other companies equipment.

BioCloud isn't really integrating into anyone's HVAC system. It's a stand-alone unit that you bolt to the wall and plug into a socket.  It wouldn't affect another supplier's system (beyond exposing its inadequacies maybe, but that's not KNR's problem).  It would be different maybe if it was being inserted into a duct or something, but it's not.

Agreed, but have you ever read a honeywell contract? they dont want it or anything to do with HVAC, very strong language, its a hurdle , not a wall.having another company in the building is an issue.

I still don't see how it would be an issue since BioCloud has nothing to do with heating, ventillation or air conditioning and wouldn't touch or react with any part oh a Honeywell system.  Actually I'd say it's more likely an issue for Honeywell than for KNR, as a Honeywell customer that buys a BioCloud might come to the conclusion that KNR is more progressive and has more on ...more
