Replacement Chamber Cost

Too many people making negative comments on the cost of replacement chambers.

Whats the cost to human life? What the economic cost of being shut down for long periods of time?

I think many posters are looking at this as a cost from a an individual utilizing in their home, that is not the purpose.

The units will detect Covid-19 in the air. This will prompt company/government/institution to implement their contact tracing to inform those who were exposed to potential virus. The people who were exposed will go and get tested. The building will be santitized and cleaned and back open for business. New chamber installed and old chamber disposed.

Very efficient, effective, no lengthy shut downs!

The cost of replacement chambers are a fraction of economic & human life costs in my opinion.

It's a non-issue. $3 per day as hopefully an insurance policy of sort compared to whatever the minimum wage per hour is in places it will be put in.

Lol I'm not sure why people are so focused on the replacement chamber.  $300 is nothing.  My son spent $500 in a single Pokmon card. $300 is a rounding error to any real business or government.

What does Pokemon have to do with anything?  Nothing, that's what.  Does your son own a business?  If not, he is also irrelevant.  $300 is nothing?  I'll believe you when you give $300 every day, or twice a day, to the local food bank.  The local skate shop that has three employees (including the owner) is just as much a real business as Sunoco.  So is ...more

We get it! Not every small business can afford a BioCloud unit. That doesn't make it any less awesome. There are many technologies the "local skate shop" can't afford, but would help their business. Let's get this into the market, and cost of consumables will come down. Jeez.

Whydunnit, Covid is expected to just cost the taxpayers $380,000,000,000 this fiscal year. If chambers need to be changed every day because of detecting Covid, the place that is doing it has a much bigger problem on its hands than $300 per cartridge. How much does it cost the local skate shop to close for business. How well will the foodbank do when its clientele increases because of folk having ...more

BioCloud can only keep a school open if it buys one.  If the school then has to pay another $300 every day or twice a day, maybe it won't buy it.
Comment by canyousayiii on Dec 08, 2020 2:18pm
Ok, I give up. I am giving out society more credit that alarms would not be going off every day or multiple times a day. And if they do, it will cost a school $600 and the school shouldbbe shut down gor 14 days, if we want to be serious about it. If not, then we can save millions as a society on avoiding equipment purchases and will keep spending 100s of billions instead like we have been doing ...more

I feel Paul has essentially done everything but pop the cork. He's let everyone know that we have a bottle of wine, that it comes from a great strain of grapes, that it came from a great year, was prepared by expert winemakers, and has been noted by wine-tasters to be an excellent tasting wine. But, I think with the "damage" that the vaccine annoucements have, and continue to do ...more

Whats the cost to human life?  I suggest you ask operators of the more notorious long-term care homes.  Those scoundrels won't pay to repaint peeling walls, hire adequate staff, feed residents properly or keep cockroaches off them.  If they have any real concern for the longevity of residents, it's as cash cows. Maybe a nickel or a dime in a good quarter, not $300 every day. ...more
