Tho the tech is different, this may or may not be a factor if knr would roll out if big franchise chain decides to the go ahead or if it would only be franchise by franchise base...

I believe only a small handful of franchise owners would be willing to cough up the $12K US for the Biocloud. However if McDonalds Corp anf Kontrol could negotiate a workable discount that would be available to any franchisee, that may be a workaround. If McD's can guarantee 100000 bioclouds world wide, a huge discount could be feasible. $7500 ? This outlay could be absorbed over a short ...more

I dont think fhe gross margin is that big to allow knocking down the price that much. Without the cartridges, the annual cost is US$1,200 per year. Less than $3 per day.
