Future Sales

Here are my assumptions in the next couple of weeks:

Banks / Grocery+Distrution Chains / Fast-Foods /Etc will be signing large orders.

Institutions get priority -  Best price maybe $12,500 CDN plus $1k installation.

Federal / Provincial Govt's "may" provide grants, could be soon.

Hold on Kids!

Correct, Due Dilgence as an investor, appreciate the compliment!

Just to clarify, these assumptions are based on Due Diligence. Feel free to reach out yourself, to a distrubutor and inquire about a BioCloud.  One will learn a thing or three instead of guessing.

One assumption has been verified.  Be Patient, Folks. Do your DD.

Hopefully you are wrong on the $1k installation cost because it has been made sound to be pretty simple. Hang it up on the wall near an electric plug and hopefully some plug-and-play software. While the price may not be an issue for big players, it is for smaller ones so no need for everyone to be at the trough and instead of everyone feasting, everyone scrounging for bits.
Comment by MRB403 on Jan 20, 2021 6:50pm
I would have to clarify what the install "meant". That was the price quoted by Priarie Sun Solar a few weeks ago. $1500 was actual quote for 1, not sure what that implied, if it was wired in directly or calibrated or etc
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 20, 2021 7:11pm
Hopefully included in the overall price of US$12,000. If they are picking up a 25 percent distributor margin and then tagging on a $1,500 installation fee, that is getting pretty rich. They would need that if they sell just a few, but Paul should not be entertaining small outfits that can hopefully sell just a few. That 250 better be a realistic AVERAGE not made up by a bunch that will struggle to ...more

Distributors won't bother if they can't sell 250 per year. At full retail, and I'm sure they would give up margin for multi unit orders to get the bigger deal, they would only be pulling in 750K profit assuming 250 x 3000 profit.
Comment by Mazz45 on Jan 20, 2021 7:30pm
Think about the investment the distributor has to make on training sales staff, developing materials to customize what they get from Kontrol for their target market, etc. 250 units IMO is a minimum not just for Kontrol but for a distributor given the investment they are making, otherwise they wouldn't sign up and invest.
Comment by MRB403 on Jan 20, 2021 7:30pm
Fair, some are only allocated 10 per month, perhaps for 2-3 months.
Comment by wilander on Jan 20, 2021 7:50pm
Prairie Sun is one of the smaller distributors.  Makes sense they may get a lower allocation out of the gate.
Comment by MRB403 on Jan 20, 2021 7:53pm
Smaller, how so? What happens if the Sask Govt signs a $50M contract?  This is my point, small or big, they are only allocated 10 when demand is waaaay higher.  Guessing it's a balancing act for Paul to appease everyone. Open to thoughts....
Comment by MRB403 on Jan 20, 2021 7:56pm
By allocated, I mean for retail purchases, indicating volumes are set aside for larger institutions that haven't been disclosed. IMO.
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 20, 2021 8:04pm
If allocation means reservation for future delivery, if they have to already start rationing the 10k monthly production, we would hear something about it. And that was the case now, they'd be pursuing the second supplier. In any case, no point guessing. As I said before, we are at a point where we could get a couple of NRs per week and as soon as we get an NR with clearer indication of sales ...more

True. We dont know how quickly they are ramping up and OES also indicated they could scale upbif needed. But I would like to think that with a 10k monthly production capacity, they would be able to ramp up to thousands relatively quickly....providing that other part suppliers are feeding them parts. Paul will have to provide some commentary on it one way or another over the next two weeks. I know ...more

Id love to be stood corrected on that one MRB!
Comment by MRB403 on Jan 20, 2021 8:25pm
  Which one... Allocations?
Comment by MRB403 on Jan 20, 2021 8:36pm
I should clarify, sounded like only 10 were coming to Sask in first shipment. After that, not sure.

$50 mil govt order.  ;)
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 20, 2021 7:51pm
Yes, that's what Paul said. It is not in their interest to sign up this way if they do not feel that they can deliver minimally 250. Unfortunately the market is not yet convinced because the numbers on the current targets are nuts and we could easily be a triple from here.

~$12,000 was already discussed, months ago. This is no suprise if Prairie Sun Solar updated their website.
Comment by MRB403 on Apr 20, 2021 12:02pm
When you check it out, price is still at $15k vs $12k on the intial product page.
Comment by canyousayiii on Apr 20, 2021 12:07pm
Did you check it yesterday? I believe Pointer posted a different price yesterday based on what he saw and that may have been corrected. Also, your previous post said there is another $1,000 for installation. I hope not because part of the sales pitch is how easy it is to install it and how anybody could do it. For the price tag, it would be poor customer service to charge $1,000 for what could be ...more
